Liverpool Street is the main gateway station in The City and connects with the Circle, Hammersmith and City, Central and Metropolitan lines as well as offering national rail services to other parts of the country. Other nearby underground stations include bank and Aldgate. Tower Gateway (DLR) provides frequent trains to Canary Wharf and takes 17 minutes.
